As a national team, we offer flexible office locations including Basingstoke, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Chesterfield, Croydon, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds, London Aldgate, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Plymouth, St Albans, Warrington, and a hybrid working model.

This position offers an opportunity to manage environmental inputs to large-scale development projects across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, regeneration, ecommerce, minerals, water, defense, aviation, and more.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide Expertise: Manage environmental inputs to EIA reports, assessments, and supporting documents across all project stages, working on various consenting regimes.
  • Ensure Quality: Maintain high standards and compliance with quality management procedures.
  • Project Management: Manage resources and budgets effectively.
  • Collaborate: Work with design teams to improve environmental outcomes, identify constraints, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Client Contact: Manage client relationships and internal teams.
  • Growth: Promote environmental services, lead business development, and develop proposals.

Qualifications:

To qualify, you should have:

  • Experience managing multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of EIA processes, assessment methods, and planning legislation.
  • Understanding of consenting and licensing regimes.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Teamwork and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and technical review skills.
  • Project management experience, including programming and budgeting.
  • Degree in environmental discipline (Masters preferred) and professional membership.
  • Willingness to travel.

Bonus points for Chartered Environmentalist status, management interest, and experience with DCO/TWAO regimes.
