Job Description

Are you passionate about improving the environmental performance of infrastructure development projects and helping the UK to deliver its net zero commitments? If so, we’d love to hear from you at AECOM.

Join our established Environmental Impact (EIA) team, comprising over 165 staff across the UK and Ireland, and work on a variety of large-scale projects including energy, infrastructure, regeneration, and more.

Responsibilities

1. Provide Expertise: Manage environmental inputs to EIA reports and assessments throughout all project stages.
2. Ensure Quality: Maintain high standards and compliance in deliverables.
3. Project Management: Manage resources and budgets effectively.
4. Collaborate: Work with design teams to improve environmental outcomes.
5. Client Contact: Manage relationships with clients and internal teams.
6. Growth: Promote services and lead business development opportunities.

Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate experience in managing multidisciplinary environmental inputs, understanding of EIA processes, planning legislation, and stakeholder engagement. A relevant environmental degree (preferably Masters) and professional membership are required. Willingness to travel is also necessary.

Bonus points for Chartered Environmentalist status, experience with DCO/TWAO regimes, and interest in staff mentoring.
