SSEN Transmission is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer based in Scotland to lead the technical governance of wound plant design and specifications. The role requires Chartered Engineer status or working towards it and deep expertise with grid transformers and HVDC equipment.
You will advise on testing, standards, and industry collaboration, contributing to a safe, reliable, and net-zero aligned transmission network.
Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations – Glasgow, Perth, Inverness or Aberdeen.
Salary: £59,800 - £89,800 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
