Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for leading a small team developing a functional Safety Case.
2. Managing the production of a functional Safety Case to a defined schedule, reporting to a Safety Engineering Manager.
3. Undertaking complex safety analysis using techniques such as Fault Tree analysis and Event Tree Analysis.
4. Producing written function safety justifications.
5. Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders both external and internal to the business, typically System Engineers, Human Factors Subject Matter Experts (SME), etc.
6. Delivering functional Safety Cases.
7. Complex safety analysis and justification.

Minimum Requirements:

1. STEM Degree or relevant experience.
2. Leading a small team.
3. Desirable: Previous submarine experience, particularly in Vehicle Control and Complex Control Systems.
