Create Solutions that will enable a better tomorrow

To support our growing UK offshore wind team, we are seeking a monopile/primary steel design specialist to join us. Working on offshore wind projects, you'll be part of a dynamic group of specialists and project managers. Our team covers the full renewable energy value chain; from market advisory and feasibility studies to design, construction support, operations, maintenance, and life extension. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical input and leadership on offshore wind projects globally. You'll also play a key role in the successful delivery of complex and innovative solutions, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to shape the future of offshore wind.

Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Act as monopile structural discipline lead on our projects, including feasibility and concept designs as well as FEED, detailed design and construction support.
  • Support the wider team members in the design of primary structures for offshore wind foundation.
  • Develop design methodologies and contribute to knowledge sharing across our international teams.
  • Perform high-quality calculations, produce technical reports and approval of drawings.
  • Attend client meetings and build relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Support our business development team in winning offshore wind project opportunities.
Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners, or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you'll have:
  • Hold a bachelor's or master's degree or PhD in Civil/structural/mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Significant experience with structural design for monopile foundations for wind turbine generators.
  • Experience with structural dynamics, numerical analysis and load assessments.
  • Knowledge of fabrication and installation of monopile foundations is desirable.
  • An understanding of coding to automate the design process.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).
