Principal Engineer Mine Waste (French/Spanish speaker)

• Work with a highly capable and experienced team to support as a mine waste specialist within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver complex projects.

About you:

If you believe this could be your next career move, we would love to hear from you. To succeed, you should demonstrate:

• A relevant Geotechnical qualification, either holding or eligible for Chartered status, with a specialization in Tailings Engineering, and significant experience within a Geotechnical Consultancy context.
• Ability to lead projects from concept through feasibility to final design and implementation, providing direction and advice to clients.
• Fluency in French or Spanish, excellent report writing and communication skills in English, and the ability to transfer these skills in preparing fee proposals, reports, specifications, and drawings.
• Ability to manage, lead, and mentor a team, and to manage and deliver geotechnical and multidisciplinary projects.
• A full UK driving license.

It would be advantageous if you also have:

• Knowledge of mining industry standards such as GISTM, ANCOLD, CDA, etc.
• Experience in water management and water balance modelling.
• Experience in numerical modelling using GeoStudio, Plaxis, or other industry-standard software.
• Experience acting as Deputy Engineer of Record or Deputy Designer of Record for tailings facilities.
