As our team has grown, we have an opportunity for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our friendly, supportive, and creative engineering team in our Manchester office. You will design and specify all aspects of Mechanical Building Services in accordance with current guidelines, standards, regulations, and project deliverables.

About You

You will have a strong track record in one or multiple sectors that BakerHicks operates in. You will be a Chartered (or working towards) Mechanical Building Services Engineer. You should demonstrate experience managing medium-sized projects or packages on large projects, while building, developing, and managing a motivated and enthusiastic team. Client care and repeat business are crucial to our success, so developing and nurturing relationships with internal and external clients is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify all aspects of Mechanical Services according to current guidelines, standards, regulations, and project deliverables.
• Manage Mechanical Services involvement in projects, including time, cost, quality, resources, client relationships, and delivery.
• Monitor and ensure quality and compliance controls within local teams and projects.
