The Highway Safety team are responsible for ensuring that the 1930km road network is safe and suitable for all users to travel throughout Kirklees without being involved in a road traffic collision.
Recently adopting a Safe Systems approach to the introduction of engineering and education measures the team are working towards our Vision Zero ambition of 0 Killed or Seriously Injured Casualties on our local roads by 2040.
To help achieve our ambition we are looking for a Principal Engineer with the following skills and experience to join the team.
