Principal Fire Engineer – Key Responsibilities

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from university buildings to high‑rise residential towers.
• Run through design information, liaise with other disciplines, and present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.
• Advise the design team on safety improvements and changes to architecture.
• Assist the successful candidate in achieving professional registration via IFE and other organisations.

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
• Willingness to work from any UK major office.
• Knowledge of fire standards and software packages.
