Job summary

Skipton Building Society seeks a Principal Engineer for the Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) to set technical direction across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, CRM and workflow capabilities. You will lead CEP squads, defining paved roads, guardrails and reusable blueprints to enable fast, safe, frequent changes with high reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mastery of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform engineering patterns and ALM at scale.
• Experience defining API/event contracts, workflow orchestration and security guardrails.
• Track record of leading engineering teams and shaping platform strategies.

Responsibilities

• Define and standardise the Golden Path for CEP with secure-by-default CI/CD.
• Architect for reliability, observability and flow across CRM and workflow domains.
• Make on-demand environments and data the default with parity checks and drift detection.
• Shift-left quality and security with contract, performance and security tests in CI.
• Lead CEP modernization with decoupling and resilience uplift across domains.
• Coach and mentor engineers, raise the bar and foster Communities of Practice.
• Work backwards from members and colleagues to improve journeys and outcomes.
