As MiQ and AirGrid continue to grow, we are looking for a Principal Engineer to join our new team and provide guidance as we scale with the business and industry moving into a cookieless world.

As a Principal Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Help build resilience into the system by designing and testing to reduce bugs.
• Ensure code is easily extendable to enable high developer velocity and a better developer experience.
• Contribute daily to features, working on our most critical and challenging projects.
• Share knowledge across the team through workshops, mentoring, and documentation.

What You'll Bring

• At least 8 years of experience in engineering roles, with experience in relational databases such as Postgres, and data warehouses like BigQuery, Redshift, Athena, Snowflake.
• Experience building backends using design principles like Domain Driven Design, Clean Architecture, SOLID, etc.
• Knowledge of various testing levels: e2e, integration, unit, and their tradeoffs.
• Experience designing APIs and full applications from scratch.
• Good understanding of data engineering concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail in communication, documentation, and development.
