Job Description

As a Principal Engine Programmer, you will be a reliable solution finder, capable of tackling any problem while demonstrating leadership within our engineering teams.

In this role, you should be adept at switching between multiple threads and experienced in working with complex codebases. You will take ownership of core engine technology, bring innovative solutions, and debug challenging problems. We also expect you to expand your knowledge and help shape best practices across the team.

As our Principal Engine Programmer, your ideas will be highly valued. You will work alongside your Lead and Technical Director to shape and influence the team's direction. You should have a hands-on approach, with an overview of architectural systems and a broad understanding of various systems to help the project reach its potential.

This is a great opportunity to become a leader on an unannounced AAA title and to develop the codebase not only for your immediate project but also to influence Ubisoft Group at large. You will have the freedom to test your abilities, research, and implement innovative solutions within AAA game development constraints.
