A municipal government organization in London seeks an experienced Principal Employment Lawyer to provide legal advisory services related to employment law, represent the organization in tribunals, and draft employment policies. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Principal Employment Lawyer to join the Comptroller and City Solicitor’s Department at the City of London Corporation. This is a pivotal role that supports the delivery of high-quality legal services across a wide range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
You will be advising internal departments and external clients, representing the organisation in Employment Tribunals, drafting employment policies and contracts, and delivering training on employment-related legal topics. You will also play a key part in ensuring our legal services remain compliant, effective, and aligned with organisational goals.

Salary: £57,240 - £64,610 per annum inclusive of all allowances. In addition, this post also attracts a Market Forces Supplement of up to £10,560 per annum. The Market Forces Supplement is discretionary and may be withdrawn, reduced or increased during the future.
