Job summary

Copello Global is seeking a hands-on Principal Embedded Software Engineer with a background in Embedded Systems and C/C++ to work on market leading surveillance equipment deployed globally in sensitive areas.

The role focuses on designing and developing software for bare-metal systems, driving high performance and reliability. You will create, test and debug low-level drivers, work across cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and ensure robust product deliverables.

Qualifications

• Experience in Firmware / Embedded Systems Engineering.
• Background in Optics or Cameras is required.
• Python knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for bare-metal systems with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Develop, test and debug low level device drivers and write efficient C/C++ code for microcontrollers and real-time systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to define software and hardware integration requirements and product requirements.
