Principal Electrical Engineer | London (Hybrid)
Lead purposeful, low-carbon design with a clear path to Associate level
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to step into a principal role with real influence and a clear progression path to Associate? What you will do

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will:

• Take technical leadership of electrical design from concept through to completion

• Oversee project delivery and coordinate with clients, architects and wider design teams

• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers

• Contribute to the development of internal processes, standards and quality assurance

• Support client relationships and get involved in business development initiatives

• Develop and deliver energy-efficient, low-carbon electrical systems that align with net zero goals

What you will bring

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership with a recognised institution

• Typically 8+ years’ experience in electrical building services design within the UK

• Strong technical knowledge across lighting, power distribution, data, fire alarm and energy systems

• Demonstrated experience leading projects through all RIBA stages

• Excellent communication, leadership and coordination skills

• A proactive approach and passion for design, innovation and sustainability
