Principal Electrical Engineer – Liverpool - to £75,000 + Package

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a role where you can work autonomously, have independence, with support and work on genuinely interesting projects whilst avoiding the bureaucracy of a large corporate consultancy?

About the Business

This is a multi-disciplinary building services consultancy specialising in thedetailed design and specification of building services systems, with a strong focus on lean, efficient and sustainable engineering solutions.

Their approach is refreshingly practical. They don't believe in over-engineering projects and instead look at each building individually, using a fabric-first approach and considering energy performance, build cost and long-term running costs from the outset.

The Electrical team works across everything fromLV distribution, lighting and emergency lighting through to fire alarms, security, access control, data/IT infrastructure, standby power, lifts, solar installations and other specialist electrical systems.

The Role

As aPrincipal Electrical Engineer, you'll take a leading role in the delivery of electrical building services projects, working closely with clients, architects, contractors and the wider multidisciplinary team.

You’ll have the freedom to take ownership of your projects and will be trusted to use your technical judgement.

You’ll lead electrical design projects from concept to completion, producing calculations, specifications, drawings and reports, while working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll also manage projects and site activities, provide technical support, mentor junior engineers and help develop strong client relationships.
