The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client-focused Electrical Building Services engineer to join our team at our Birmingham office, playing a leading role in delivering innovative electrical design solutions for exciting building projects across the UK, Ireland, and internationally.

The role involves working across sectors such as Education, Commercial, Advanced Industrial, Healthcare, Retail, and Critical Systems. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to manage the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.

You will develop and maintain client relationships to maximize satisfaction and repeat business, using your expertise and leadership to motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.

The Skills

Candidates should be Chartered Engineers with a degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (MEng, BEng, or equivalent), with extensive consultancy experience in electrical engineering within building services (including electrical distribution, power generation, lighting design, security systems, etc.).

You should have proven technical expertise in relevant design software and a portfolio demonstrating quality work and a client-focused approach.

Recent experience managing multiple large-scale projects and teams, exceeding client expectations, and a passion for creative, intuitive design are essential.

Excellent communication and project management skills are crucial given the collaborative and client-oriented nature of this role.
