My client is a leading independent environmental consultancy with over 30 years of experience delivering high quality environmental advice across the UK and Europe. With a growing team of environmental specialists, they have built a strong reputation for technical excellence, collaboration and delivering meaningful work across major infrastructure and development projects.
This is a newly created Principal EIA Consultant position, joining a small and growing Leeds EIA team. You will take a lead role across major infrastructure and development projects, coordinating environmental inputs, managing multidisciplinary teams, working with clients and sub consultants, and delivering projects through different consenting regimes including DCO and Town and Country Planning.
The ideal candidate will have around 8+ years' EIA experience and be capable of hitting the ground running. You will have experience leading complex EIAs, strong project management and client skills, and the confidence to take ownership of projects. In return, you will have the opportunity to help develop the Leeds EIA capability, with clear progression supported through a skills matrix, yearly reviews and ongoing training.
