About the role

Could you use your expertise in early years support to help children with complex needs access the right opportunities from the very start of their education journey?

Join the team at the Pre-School Assessment Centre and take a lead role in delivering tailored support for children with additional and special educational needs. Working within a multi-disciplinary environment alongside education, health and social care professionals, you will help assess needs, coordinate targeted interventions and support children to develop the skills and confidence they need for a successful transition into education.

As a Principal Education Support Officer, you will work directly with children, families and early years providers to promote inclusion and remove barriers to learning. You'll provide specialist guidance, deliver training and mentoring, coordinate transition programmes and act as a key worker for children with complex needs, helping to create positive outcomes that extend beyond the classroom.

If you're ready to use your knowledge, leadership and passion for inclusion to help shape brighter futures for young children across the Island, we'd love to hear from you.
