We are seeking a Principal Ecologist to join our team in London, with hybrid working arrangements. This is a permanent position, full-time or part-time, offering up to £50,000 (full-time equivalent), depending on experience.

The role involves leading ecology surveys, data analysis, report writing, and supporting project management. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of relevant UK experience, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of UK legislation related to ecology.

Responsibilities include providing technical support, leading habitat and species surveys, preparing ecological assessments, and mentoring junior staff. Qualifications required include membership in CIEEM (preferred), a driving license, and experience with UKHab surveys and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
