Job summary

Arcadis, a leading sustainable design and consultancy company in the UK, seeks a Principal Ecologist to join its expert team. You will coordinate and deliver a wide range of ecological projects ensuring quality and exceeding client expectations.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ecological principles, biodiversity metrics and relevant EcIA legislation.
• Proven track record in writing Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and Ecological Impact Assessments.
• Excellent commercial and project management skills for diverse project sizes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality control, coordination and completion of tasks and projects.
• Lead and manage delivery of projects to meet time, budget and client expectations.
• Mentor and guide team members and oversee personal development.
