Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, seeks a Principal Ecologist in Manchester to lead ecology on major infrastructure projects and support delivery of key civil works. The role requires strategic risk management, mentoring, and a strong background in ecology for construction environments.

You will drive BNG measurement and delivery, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and shape ecological strategies for high-impact projects.
