The role
As a Principal EC&I Engineer you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll join a growing multi-disciplinary team within the Electrical Engineering Group (EEG)?
We currently have a vacancy for Principal EC&I Engineer at our sites in Plymouth, Bristol and Rosyth.
As an Principal EC&I Engineer, you will have the support of a large team of likeminded electrical and electronic engineers to give support to, and to learn and give support from; sharing best practice and enabling you to grow within your profession.
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of Electrical/Electronic aspects of marine system design and ensure it complies with the relevant legislation. You will also manage the Integration using practical electrical, electronic combat and automation product solutions not only within the same disciplines but defining the interfaces with others constructively and mechanically.
This role is full time 37 hours and will be based at one of our locations: Rosyth, Bristol, or Plymouth. The role offers hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Principal EC&I Engineer:
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
