Job summary

AutoRek is seeking a Technical Lead to support a team of developers across Senior, L2, and L1 levels. You will guide delivery, ensure design quality, and oversee the AutoRek core financial management solution. You’ll drive best practices and line management, ensuring timely, within-budget delivery.

The role emphasizes strong MS SQL, data querying/manipulation, and Power BI skills, with a focus on SDLC processes and change control. FinTech/SaaS experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience leading small teams and line management.
• Strong MS SQL, data querying and data manipulation.
• Knowledge of change control processes and SDLC phases.
• Background in FinTech, SaaS, or Finance is advantageous.
• Ability to review and sign off solution designs.

Responsibilities

• Support a team of Senior, L2, and L1 Developers.
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members.
• Implement and test the AutoRek core financial management solution.
• Review and sign off solution designs.
• Direct project build teams and oversee build efforts.
• Own defect triage and defect management throughout testing.
• Escalate technical issues as first line outside projects.
• Lead peer reviews and develop best practices.

• Support a team of Senior, L2, and L1 Developers in their development and goals
• Provide individual team members with support and guidance in their roles and the tasks that they undertake
• Drive and develop best practices

• Ownership of defect triage and defect management through the acceptance testing phase
• Act as first line of escalation outside of project for technical issues
