About the Role

We are expanding our team and seeking a Health and Safety Consultant. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, sociable company and make a tangible impact. We support your career development in business, technical, or professional areas.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide Health & Safety services on independent and project delivery commissions.
• Produce pre-construction information, files, and CDM documents.
• Ensure Designer compliance with CDM 2015.
• Review contractors’ documentation.
• Interface with clients and design teams.
• Conduct site H&S inspections and audits.
• Advise clients on procurement and consultant appointment issues.
• Proactively develop the business regionally.
• Stay updated on legal developments in construction law.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess or be working toward a NEBOSH National/Construction Certificate.
• Member of APS, IOSH, CIOB, or working towards membership.
• Relevant design or construction qualification (preferred).
• Good IT skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 and health & safety issues.
• Knowledge of Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
• H&S training capability (advantage).
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and achieve targets.
