Your Purpose:

• Providing Health &Safety Services on both independent commissions and also to complementour wider project delivery services.
• Providing PrincipalDesigner Services under CDM2015.
• Production ofpre-construction information, files and other associated CDMdocuments.
• Ensuring Designer compliance.
• Reviewingcontractors' documentation.
• Interfacing with clients anddesign teams on project basis.
• Conducting site H&Sinspections/audits.
• Advise clients on procurement options andconsultant appointment issues.
• Pro-active in businessdevelopment of the Services within the Region.
• Keep updatedwith current legal developments in respect of construction andassociated law.

What you can bring:

• Possess or working toward a NEBOSH National /Construction Certificate.
• A member of APS, IOSH and/or CIOBor working towards.
• A relevant design or construction relatedqualification (preferred but not essential).
• Good IT skillsand working knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the componentparts of CDM 2015 and other Health & Safety issues.
• Workingknowledge of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
• H+STraining capability may be an advantage.
• Strong Communicationskills - experience of communicating with people at differing levelseffectively through oral and written communication.
• Clientfacing skills - experience of working with clients at astrategic/operational level and managing the relationshipseffectively.
• Strong Planning and Organising skills - able toprioritise workload and deadlines and manage change effectively.
• Effective problem resolution skills - solution orientatedwith the ability to manage problems and complaints assertively.
• Teamwork skills - ability to work with others to achieve teamand personal targets or objectives.
