The Principal Designer & CDM Advisor Role

As a Principal Designer & CDM Advisor, you will manage and advise on all design safety risks for the portfolio of projects within the pre-construction phase. You will lead a team of CDM Advisors supporting your work. This client-facing role focuses on technical delivery and client satisfaction.

You will collaborate with other design disciplines to plan, manage, and coordinate health and safety during the pre-construction stage. Additionally, you will share CDM knowledge across all professions, develop and deliver CDM training programmes, workshops, and CPD events for designers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with drive, enthusiasm, and solid knowledge of design and construction to join a small but growing multidisciplinary practice.

The Successful CDM Consultant Will Have:

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (required)
• Tech IOSH (minimum)
• APS membership (required)
• Design degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Surveying (preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in the UK in a CDM role (required)
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
