Purpose of Job
The Principal works in partnership with the business stakeholders and is responsible for leading change projects or initiatives that materially impact the Bank’s organisation and/or operations. They are responsible for leading the collection, analysis and documentation of a client's business requirements as part of the operating model, including process, data, and technology design. They may also be a Product Owner within strategic technology or business transformation projects, usually working in matrix environments with specialist consultants and other Bank staff engaged in the projects.
The Bank is undertaking several transformation initiatives aimed at modernising the Bank and reviewing its operating model. Programme Compass is a transformation programme across Human Resources, Finance (including Procurement and Operations Back Office), and Donor Funds Administration focused on delivering fundamental change to the current operating model enabled by implementing the latest suite of SAP technologies. Compass seeks to eliminate the friction and frustration of the current manual processes, inconsistent data, and siloed structures. The incumbent will be the Lead BA on the programme, ensuring consistency of process re-engineering and implementation.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis to design and gain acceptance for as-is and to-be business processes to produce sound solutions that meet business needs and support the wider objectives of the Bank.
- Advise, guide progress, and support implementation of the projects as required, prioritising activities and setting objectives/targets for project teams.
- Manage stakeholders to ensure they are aligned and committed to the projects.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments and allocate tasks and activities within and between teams as required.
- Maintain accurate plans, cost estimates, and benefit realisation models.
- Provide project status updates to the EPMO according to reporting schedules, and adhere to agreed project methodologies.
- Manage risks and issues appropriately, raising items to the EPMO and to the Associate Director, Design & Transformation as required.
- Develop and deliver project communications.
