Qualifications

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Design Engineer with expertise in temporary works and scaffold design. Based in Watford, you will lead the delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient engineering solutions on major civil infrastructure projects.

What you will need
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, or actively working towards it.
  • Proven experience in scaffold and temporary works design, with strong knowledge of TG20:21, SG4:22, BS EN 12811.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software (e.g. STAAD Pro, Tekla Tedds).
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, CDM regulations, and site constraints.
