Job summary

PRS is seeking an experienced DCIM Delivery Senior Manager to lead critical controls across a growing portfolio of data centre facilities. You will own DCIM and controls delivery from design through commissioning, coordinating BMS/EPMS/PLC/SCADA efforts with system integrators and partners.

You will guide technical architecture, ensure operational readiness, and work with construction, IT and project teams to implement high-availability infrastructure across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Strong background in data centre BMS, EPMS, DCIM or controls engineering.
• Experience delivering controls and automation systems within mission-critical facilities.
• Excellent knowledge of PLC, SCADA and integrated building management systems.
• Experience managing system integrators, contractors and technical delivery partners.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of DCIM and controls delivery across multiple data centre projects.
• Lead BMS, EPMS, PLC and SCADA technical delivery from design through to commissioning and handover.
• Manage specialist controls partners and system integrators, ensuring quality, performance and delivery standards.
• Provide technical leadership on system architecture, controls strategies, sequences of operation and integration.
• Oversee FAT, installation, testing, commissioning and operational readiness.
• Work closely with construction, engineering, IT and project delivery teams.
• Drive technical standards, consistency and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
• Develop engineering capability, mentor teams and act as the senior technical escalation point.

The Candidate We are looking for

You will already be established within the data centre sector, ideally working for a data centre operator, developer or major mission-critical organisation.

You will offer:

• A strong background in data centre BMS, EPMS, DCIM or controls engineering.
• Proven experience delivering controls and automation systems within mission-critical facilities.
• Excellent knowledge of PLC, SCADA and integrated building management systems.
• Experience managing system integrators, contractors and technical delivery partners.
• A strong understanding of data centre electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• The ability to lead technical teams, manage complex delivery programmes and take ownership of results.

Experience with Ignition, AVEVA, Rockwell, Schneider Electric or Siemens platforms would be advantageous.
