Job summary

Aviva is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to lead the Personal Lines analytics effort within the Retail team in London/ nationally. You will guide a data science team, work with stakeholders across the business, and drive data-driven decisions that improve customer outcomes.

The role requires strong expertise in statistics, ML, and AI, with excellent communication and strategic thinking to deliver impactful solutions in a complex insurance landscape.

Qualifications

• Proven track record solving complex problems with ML/Statistics methods.
• Strong communication to explain ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen with strategic business sense.
• Ability to deliver projects with cross-functional teams.
• Numerate with advanced degree in relevant field advantageous.
