Principal Data Scientist

London - Hybrid (3 days a week)

Up to £125,000 + benefits

This is a great opportunity for a Principal Data Scientist to join an exciting marketing consultancy in an 80% hands-on, 20% technical leadership/management role.

THE ROLE

• Drive machine learning projects across recommenders, segmentation, forecasting, and marketing spend optimization
• Work on advanced projects involving GenAI and NLP
• Collaborate closely with an Engineering team while remaining full stack in your projects
• Report to the Head of Data Science
• Drive commercial value in partnership with senior stakeholders
• Opportunity to upskill and mentor within a strong team of 8

Skills And Experience

• Strong fundamental knowledge in Data Science and Statistics
• Experience with recommenders, forecasting, pricing, churn, marketing, etc. — a generalist role!
• Exposure to GenAI, NLP, Computer Vision is a bonus
• MSc in a STEM subject (Maths, Physics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and a commercially driven mindset
• Experience leading projects and small teams
