Adecco Portugal is recruiting a Principal Cyber Risk Management & Assurance Advisor for a major public sector transformation project. The role is London, Bristol or Manchester-based with a hybrid pattern of ~3 onsite days per week.

You will lead cyber risk management, security assurance, governance and secure-by-design across large-scale technology environments. We seek a senior practitioner with extensive experience in risk management, assurance and regulatory compliance, capable of influencing

Qualifications

• Extensive cyber security risk management & assurance experience.
• Strong governance, risk frameworks & control assurance knowledge.
• Proven ability to apply secure-by-design principles.
• Experience in large, complex organisations.
• Active SC Clearance (transferable).

Responsabilités

• Provide expert leadership on cyber risk management and assurance activities.
• Assess and manage security risks across enterprise technology programmes and services.
• Support the implementation of secure-by-design principles throughout project and operational lifecycles.
• Provide assurance against security standards, regulatory requirements and risk frameworks.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to influence risk-based decision making.
• Review and challenge technical designs, architectures and security controls.
• Contribute to cloud and digital transformation programmes from a cyber security perspective.
