Job summary

Computacenter is a leading IT infrastructure services company recruiting a Principal Consultant - Workplace. The role covers Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity, security and device management across Windows, Apple and Android environments; frequent UK-based travel; remote base with SC clearance.

You will shape strategies, run workshops, lead technical teams, and mentor consultants. You’ll influence technology roadmaps, design secure, modern workplace solutions and run presales

Qualifications

• Significant enterprise end-user computing and Microsoft 365 experience.
• Strong expertise in Intune and endpoint management across Windows, Apple and Android.
• Experience with Entra ID, Defender, Windows 11, Autopilot and Microsoft 365 security.
• Knowledge of Jamf and/or Workspace ONE.
• Experience designing secure solutions aligned to CIS, Cyber Essentials, NIST or NCSC.
• Strong experience leading technical teams and customer engagements.
• Presales experience including solution design, bids and estimation.
• Strong PowerShell and/or Microsoft Graph skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

As an IT Expert Principal within Platforms, you’ll be a trusted technical authority, leading complex customer engagements across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity, security and device management.

It’s a highly client-facing role where you’ll influence strategy, lead technical teams and work with the latest workplace technologies across Microsoft, Apple and Android environments.

What you’ll do

• Lead the design and delivery of large-scale modern workplace solutions.

What you’ll need

• Significant experience in enterprise end-user computing and Microsoft 365, ideally within client-facing consultancy.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune and endpoint management across Windows, Apple and Android.
• Experience with Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Windows 11, Autopilot and Microsoft 365 security.
• Knowledge of Jamf and/or Workspace ONE.
• Experience designing secure solutions aligned to frameworks such as CIS, Cyber Essentials, NIST or NCSC.
• Strong experience leading technical teams and customer engagements.
• Presales experience, including solution design, bids and estimation.
• Strong PowerShell and/or Microsoft Graph skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Citrix, Microsoft Defender XDR, Entra Suite, PKI or public sector/defence customers would be an advantage.
