Our Programme Advisory business, set up in 2018, offers services to clients in the strategy, set-up and transition and transformation of their capability to deliver major programmes and projects both in the UK and globally, with a market leading client base across the public and private sectors. Our success is driving the expansion of our UK team, and we are seeking to recruit experienced Principal and Senior Consultant in the field of project finance and business case development, specifically those with experience in de-carbonisation and Net Zero projects and/or programmes in renewable energies, transport and economic infrastructure assets using different funding and financing sources, and delivery models.

Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, talented, and proactive individuals to join our Programme Integration team, within Programme Advisory. Our growing team needs people with hands on experience working in a major project environment – whether you’re a champion of change, a connoisseur of consents or a perfect PM we’d love to hear from you about how you could help us to deliver tangible results for our clients.

Programme Integration is at the heart of the Programme Advisory Team. We work across the entire development lifecycle providing a range of services to our clients including programme and portfolio set up and delivery, transition management, governance and assurance solutions, and consents, stakeholder and sponsorship management. Overnight stays at the job site may be required to support our Clients.

As part of the Programme Integration team your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working as part of an integrated project team to ensure the delivery of key client deliverables
  • Designing and facilitating client workshops and presentations
  • Managing client relationships
  • Identifying and realising business development opportunities
  • Contributing towards the preparation of bid proposals
  • Supporting the ‘selling’ of logistics opportunities and benefits to internal T&T account teams
  • Supporting internal initiatives within the Programme Advisory team, such as the development of programme integration products and methodologies
  • Mentoring and/or managing members of the Programme Advisory team
  • Line managing junior staff (where applicable)
  • Providing strategic consultancy services to clients on logistics and supply chain management.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of innovative logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Advising clients on best practices in logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Conducting thorough analyses of clients' logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with clients and internal teams to design and implement customized logistics solutions.
  • Supporting the development of logistics-related proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide cutting-edge advice.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in logistics operations.
  • Supporting the development of an integrated ‘best in class’ Construction / Logistics Delivery Planning service offer.
Qualifications
  • Experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a focus on consultancy and strategic roles.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Experience working in, or a familiarity with a consulting environment (other consultancies or as an internal consultant) or be able to demonstrate a consulting skillset
  • A proven track record of delivering tangible results on across a range of projects, adopting a nimble approach and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience of programme and/or project management within a complex environment with multiple workstreams
  • Experience of managing stakeholders within large and complex organisations
  • Experience of designing and facilitating client workshops – or the desire to learn.
  • Experience of managing the production of high-quality deliverables within challenging timescales
  • Experience developing productive working relationships andthe ability to identify new business opportunities
  • Experience in some/all of the following sectors: infrastructure, transportation, utilities, defence, natural resources, and real estate
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
