Overview

In the role of a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building, and shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop logical and physical database models based on business requirements.
• Write efficient and complex SQL queries, ETL using stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Collaborate with AWS Team to help build the Data Pipelines/Orchestration.
• Optimize and tune query performance for processing high volumes of data and ensure scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to timely deliver quality database solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and availability across systems.
• Support testing activities by analyzing defects and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Perform and support DB deployments during testing and release cycles.
• Document database structures and data flows.
• 15+ years of professional experience in database development.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with major RDBMS platforms such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries, procedures and functions.
• Proven expertise in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Solid experience in implementing and managing ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Experience in Data Warehousing and Data Migration projects is a definite plus.
