Principal Consultant - Interim Accounting & Finance

About the Role

You will join a high-performing team that works closely with finance leaders in the real estate sector, including CFOs, Finance Directors, Heads of FP&A, and investment controllers - placing interim professionals from newly qualified level through to executive finance mandates. With a trusted reputation and deep-rooted relationships across the industry, we partner with clients ranging from property companies and REITs to investment funds, developers, and advisory firms. Our focus spans all real estate asset classes, offering a rich and diverse client base for specialist recruiters. Why this role?

• Take ownership - opportunity to head up the interim desk and shape its future
• Inherit a £350k-£400k billing desk with active mandates and a high-performing client base
• Work with prestigious clients across real estate investment, development, and asset management
• Day rates typically between £500-£1,000 - high-value, senior interim placements

What we're looking for

• Strong experience in interim finance recruitment (qualified or part-qualified market)
• Full 360 capability - proven at winning, developing, and delivering against client accounts
• Confidence and credibility to work with senior finance leaders across real estate
• Commercial awareness and desire to build out a high-performing desk with leadership potential
• Background in real estate/property is desirable but not essential
