Job Description

As part of the growth of the Arcadis Digital Advisory team, there is a need for a Principal Consultant to lead the delivery of digital client projects/commissions and support the development of the Digital Asset Advisory team. This role is client-facing, responsible for managing project delivery, supporting the growth of Digital Advisory capabilities, and pursuing opportunities within the FM space.

1. Generate high-margin consulting sales by identifying, selling, and delivering propositions that include sector core services.
2. Lead exceptional client outcomes across multiple capability areas and commissions.
3. Highlight Arcadis thought leadership to the business and clients.
4. Champion diversity, inclusion, and well-being, embedding these values within Business Advisory.
5. Support community and non-project initiatives that enhance Talent retention and attraction.
6. Ensure timely completion of timesheets and sales pipeline updates.
7. Deliver fees from new opportunities, bid support, etc.
8. Lead and deliver workstreams or small to medium projects (up to 6 people), achieving project and individual objectives.
9. Promote Arcadis values and uphold professionalism and integrity.
10. Manage up to 4 team members.

Qualifications & Experience

Consulting

• Experience managing diverse stakeholder groups, including executives and external partners.
• Knowledge of change management methodologies.
• Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in verbal and written forms.
• Experience managing projects with teams of 4-6 people.
• Ability to identify client challenges and provide strategic recommendations.

Commercial and Sales

• Experience in developing and converting sales pipelines.
• Proven success in delivering projects that meet financial targets.
• Support business development through proposals and bids.

People

• Experience fostering collaborative team environments and supporting personal growth.
• Experience mentoring and managing performance.

Technical (Digital FM Advisory)

• Experience in relevant industry sectors and knowledge of data standards like ISO, FMS.
• Understanding of enterprise asset management and facilities management systems.
• Knowledge of asset and facilities management principles.
• Ability to develop system architectures and establish governance standards.
• Experience in digital transformation projects from conception to deployment.
• Proficiency in business analysis techniques.
• Business Analysis certification is a plus.
