We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant who will be responsible for managing a team involved in data architecture and design. You will be at the forefront of Microsoft technology and will contribute to direction of the development team by staying up to date with the latest developments in the Data, Azure, Power Platform and related technologies. Ideally, we are look for applicants who have experience of the following:
The role will assume Tech Lead responsibility in transformational projects with a focus on ensuring best practice data architecture as well as the ability to manage a high-performing team

We are specifically looking for a Principal Consultant to join our team with the follow expertise:
Architecture & Design - Defining end-to-end data architecture, including ingestion, storage, transformation, and reporting layers. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to select appropriate tooling (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Dataverse).
Data Integration & Engineering Oversight - This role will involve leading the development of ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related tools. The post holder will supervise the implementation of data models in Azure Synapse or SQL and oversee data ingestion from multiple on-premise and cloud-based systems (ERP, CRM, APIs, flat files, etc.)
Governance & Quality - Defining and enforcing data quality standards, lineage tracking, and metadata documentation. Championing the use of Azure Purview or similar tools for data cataloguing and governance.
Power Platform Alignment - Managing integration between 3rd Party, Azure data services and Power Platform components (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) whilst ensuring data models support self-service analytics and embedded reporting.
