Job Description:

We have a vacancy for an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join a well-established team of psychological therapists. The successful candidate will take a lead role in service redesign and development, working within a multidisciplinary team to help individuals with complex psychological issues.

The team, led by two Consultant Clinical Psychologists, includes Clinical & Counselling Psychologists, Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology, Enhanced Psychological Practitioners, and Assistant Psychologists. It covers clinics across Kirkcaldy and Levenmouth, offering a range of interventions within a tiered service delivery model. The post-holder will receive regular clinical and managerial supervision, along with opportunities for peer support.

This role offers the chance to join a large, area-wide Psychology service encompassing major clinical specialties. The service is research-active, promotes continuous professional development, and has strong links with the Universities of Edinburgh, Stirling, and Dundee, providing placements for trainees.
