We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking, and motivated Principal Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical/Forensic) to join our friendly and professional multidisciplinary team at the Cavell Centre, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Our recent investment in the Psychology pathway for inpatient services aims to develop and deliver more psychologically informed services, increasing access to psychological assessment, intervention, and therapy in line with national guidance.
You will be part of a psychology team led by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, working within our adult mental health inpatient pathway. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to service development and evaluation, making a difference to patients, carers, and colleagues. You will work across two wards (Treatment and Rehabilitation), supported by an Assistant Psychologist and a trainee Clinical Psychologist, with specific responsibilities in each setting.
CPFT is aligned with the University of Cambridge Department of Psychiatry, a leading center for research. The Trust hosts trainees for the UEA Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology and offers numerous professional development opportunities.
