Principal Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

Clinically, there is an opportunity to work with:

  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Other functional conditions
  • People living with dementia

The clinical work involves individual sessions, family and care system consultations, and therapeutic groups to meet patient needs. The service also offers some remote appointments. We have a strong history of supporting clinicians' professional development through formal training and encouraging the pursuit of special interests.

The ideal candidate is a qualified Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, with extensive experience in various mental health settings, especially with older adults within a community multidisciplinary team. They will provide clinical supervision and have delegated management responsibilities. Interventions will be delivered on an individual or group basis, utilizing advanced clinical skills.
