Due to significant growth in the Arcadis Defence sector, we are recruiting for positions working alongside our client organisation and in client-side roles, to deliver a wide range of high-profile buildings projects.

Due to the nature of these projects, existing BPSS clearance or the ability to pass BPSS security clearance is essential.

As a Principal Structural Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading the structural design on larger projects, working collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution. You will need to present complex technical solutions to clients.

You will manage project teams with up to 10 people, providing technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery on the project and in their professional development. You will manage the performance of team members and sub-contractors, identifying and ensuring the resolution of any issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Structural Engineering or similar
• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• Previous experience working in a similar role
• Prior experience working in a consultancy environment
• Heavy Civils / Reinforced Concrete structures experience is desirable
• Ability to support and lead junior engineers
• Existing BPSS clearance or the ability to pass BPSS security clearance is essential.
