Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Middlesbrough is seeking a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to lead high-quality design work and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on challenging infrastructure projects. The role is based on-site in Middlesbrough (37 hours/week) with some flexibility, offering a supportive environment and opportunities to drive innovation while delivering compliant design solutions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng or BEng).
  • Chartered status or working toward Chartership.
  • Strong understanding of civil/structural design principles.
  • Familiarity with STAAD Pro or similar software.
  • Knowledge of materials, construction processes and standards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed civil and structural design documents.
  • Review design deliverables with Principal/Lead Engineers.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys for design development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to meet milestones.
  • Produce technical documentation and progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deliver on time and to spec.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Civil / Structural Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Middlesbrough.
