Are you an experiencedPrincipal Civil Structural Engineer with a strong track record indesign and management within the nuclear industry? Do you thrive onleading teams, mentoring engineers, and driving business growth whileapplying your technical expertise to deliver complexprojects?
We are looking for Principal Civil StructuralEngineers to join our growing team in Sheffield and Manchester. Youwill play a key role in delivering major new-build nuclear projectsincluding Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, Small Modular Reactor (SMR)programmes and future fusion reactor technologies. As a technical andmanagerial leader, you will oversee multidisciplinary projects, engagewith clients, develop teams, and contribute to securing futurework.
You will bring demonstrable design and managementexperience in the nuclear sector, including line and team management,mentoring junior engineers, and the ability to support growth of ourPower New Build business. YourPurpose:
You should have a proven track record andexperience in several key areas including:
- Extensiveexperience in the analysis and design of nuclear safety relatedstructures and/or the assessment of existing nuclear facilities.
- Consulting with safety case, external hazard and internalhazard personnel on the development and substantiation of safetyfunctional requirements.
- Leadership of multidisciplinaryprojects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Managingand mentoring multiple team members, developing junior engineers, andproviding technical oversight.
- Client and stakeholderengagement, understanding their needs and delivering innovativesolutions.
- Strategic business development, including writingbids, securing new work, and expanding client relationships.
What You Can Bring:- A chartered statuswith a recognised civil or structural engineering institution(IStructE, ICE, or equivalent).
