Are you a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality projects and leading motivated teams? BakerHicks is looking for an experienced Principal Civil & Structural Engineer to join our growing team and help shape the future of engineering in sectors such as buildings, infrastructure, and more.

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead and manage Civil & Structural Engineering design on medium and large-scale projects
2. Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians
3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and compliant solutions
4. Ensure successful project outcomes in terms of time, cost, quality, and resource management
5. Contribute to commercial activities, including tenders, proposals, and estimates
6. Maintain and champion quality standards and compliance controls

What You Bring:

• Chartered Membership of ICE or IStructE
• Proven experience leading projects and managing commercial elements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Deep technical knowledge across steel, concrete, foundations, drainage, and more
• Eligibility for UK security clearance
