We are seeking a seasoned Principal Civil Project Engineer to lead and manage complex infrastructure and site development projects. The ideal candidate will bring a depth of civil engineering expertise, strong project management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to guide teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery from conception to completion.

Position Responsibilities

Project Leadership

• Lead civil engineering design efforts across a variety of projects including infrastructure, utilities, and land development.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all phases of project execution.
  

Technical Oversight

• Oversee preparation of engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and design reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  

Team Management

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff to promote professional development and high-quality deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones and budgets are met.
  

Client Relations

• Foster and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, timely deliverables, and a commitment to quality.
  

Prerequisites

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering with progressive leadership responsibility.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of municipal and private sector project processes.
  

Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
