Arup is seeking a Principal Civil Infrastructure Engineer – Site Development in Whitehaven. You will take a leading role in growing our civil infrastructure capability, guiding complex projects from feasibility through delivery, and mentoring engineers across a multidisciplinary team.

The role is client-facing, with responsibility for project direction, technical excellence, and collaboration across UK teams, while supporting local delivery and regional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Chartered status (CEng or IEng) through ICE or a relevant professional body
• Experience in site development and civil infrastructure design and delivery undertaking key roles in complex or regulated environments

Responsibilities

• Lead growth and delivery of site development capability across the North.
• Manage multi-disciplinary projects while providing technical knowledge and mentoring to engineers.
