We are agile across our resource teams, which offers candidates excellent career progression opportunities. You will work alongside industry recognised experts to deliver value to key water utility company clients, including NI Water, Uisce Éireann, Scottish Water, and other AMPUK water companies.

Overview of role

You will undertake investigation and design across all stages of water and wastewater scheme development, from high level master planning, through to detailed design and commissioning.

A key part of the role will include people management aspects. As such, you’ll be required to work closely with our NI Water Account Lead and Resource Lead to help grow, line manage and develop our water team capability in Belfast.

Candidate Specification

Essential experience / attributes:

  1. Civil Engineering or other relevant degree;
  2. Chartered Engineer status (ICE or equivalent);
  3. Proactive people manager with a track record in building and supporting teams;
  4. Understanding of the designer’s responsibilities under the CDM regulations;
  5. Solid knowledge of water or wastewater specifications and standards;
  6. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills;

Desirable experience / attributes:

  1. Experience of working with NI Water, Uisce Éireann, Scottish Water, United Utilities, or equivalent;
  2. Strong digital capability (e.g. Copilot / AI, Civils 3D, GIS, SharePoint);
  3. Contributed towards the identification and development of low carbon solutions;
