Are you a passionate engineer looking for your next challenge? Join us at Design ID and lead the way in project delivery and team management across a variety of sectors that we work in.

In this role, you'll coordinate project teams, provide technical problem solving and innovation, and ensure project quality for our clients.

To thrive as a Principal Civil Engineer, you'll need excellent Civil 3D, MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow skills, along with experience in project management and technical delivery. You'll be a natural leader with strong communication and problem-solving abilities, able to manage deadlines and budgets effectively. You would have a minimum CEng qualification and minimum 7 years of relevant experience.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience in the following areas our Civil Engineering team specialises in;

• Strong technical background, with a demonstratable track record of delivery in one or more core team specialisms (Sustainable Drainage, Flood Risk, Earthworks, Utilities Coordination);

• Experience of working across numerous project sectors including industrial, public realm and active travel, commercial, education and residential;

• Projects varying from scheme design through to providing construction support; and

• Experience in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, MicroDrainage/Flow.

Some of the current areas our Civil Engineers specialise in:

• Civils design for building projects (Earthworks, Drainage, Layouts, Highways)

• Flood Risk Assessments

• Planning Applications

• Public Realm & Active Travel Design

• Industrial Clients in the private sector (Factories, Power Stations, Data Centres) and

• Working directly with Public Sector Clients to the front line with D&B Projects
